Challenge:

The challenge is to incorporate at least one popular #menswear item into your fit. Some examples are below.

Please note the idea is not to look purposefully ridiculous, but to incorporate the item tastefully.

Otherwise the only rule is you must wear a tailored jacket.

In! However, I object the notion that proper waist height and pleats are #menswear (even if they are popular with the #menswear crowd ATM). This would mean that my grandpa was very #menswear.

Eh, what we wear can't be decontextualized like that. An outfit on you is, and should be, interpreted differently than an outfit in your grandfather, even if every item, down to your underwear, is identical.

This applies to gender, age, country of origin, and probably social status.

Naturally. However, it is the idea of high rise trousers being particularly #menswear that I object to. That's like saying that classic length jackets are #menswear, just because they seem to come back in style now.

I say all this as a self professed #menswear poster.
