Low key Lemaire minus Christophe, looks very classic but everything is still there. Always wondered what he'd do with a Hermès menswear collection and I feel this is probably a pretty close approximation.

Christophe Lemaire RTW Fall 2015
By Joelle Diderich

With a refined men’s collection, Christophe Lemaire and his partner Sarah-Linh Tran unveiled a new identity and corporate design for his label, which has been renamed Lemaire to reflect a more collective approach to design.

Fans of his timeless aesthetic can rest easy: That's as far as the shakeup went. On the catwalk, it was business as usual, since the duo has been co-designing the line for a while.

Best thing is that there are more blues, and those knit sweater scarves. Sweet

I like it a lot too. Some nice but subtle 60s-70s references. I think I've finally come to accept his carrot silhouette.

Haha this is exactly what I thought. Looks like a 'more affordable' hermes collection basically.
Very strong.

@dieworkwear
Close ups to that coat you were interested in.
First photo from tommyton's ig, second and third photos from Othershop's ig

edit: I understand that everyone at the show was given a card stating what fabrics are used for each look. @OTHERshop I would greatly appreciate details of the entire collections fabrics

Damn, that looks great.

Hm, on closer inspection, it doesn't look like it's boucle? Seems like some kind of complicated, woven tweed or something.

Someone (@sipang?) should make a Lemaire thread. Maybe with links to these various runway threads, list of stockists, possible interviews, etc.

I think the other AW14 sort of became that de facto thread, but yeah I think there's enough interest for a single place for all of that discussion. would be helpful.
