I am interested in finding out the value of two 100% Vicuna overcoats that were my Fathers.
One is camel colored with Sax Fifth Avenue label inside coat and another label which says Vicuna from the rare peruvian Vinuna, finest and softest wool in existence. The other overcoat is Black and has a label inside that reads 100% imported Vicuna. Both coats are 42-44 reg. I can be emailed at [email protected]

thank you

Depends on the hand of the vicuna, the cut, the size. You could make a few hundred dollars on eBay easy.

The estimates of a couple of hundred dollars sound accurate. Factors include the quality of the cloth and any damage.

To make a new vicuna coat would cost $10,000 to 20,000.

If the coats are good condition and if they fit or can be altered, you may want to consider keeping them for yourself.

You're going to need better photos to meet your $25,000 asking price.

Hey, I offered you $210! As stated, people would need to see pics, check out the condition, etc. This might be something you want to take to a top shelf consignment guy for a look-see. A Harris is such a person and he posts on here. It's so rare, most will have no idea what price these should fetch. In any event, we'd all love to see photos.

Dammit, Hroi, I can't bid against you since you successfully guided me in my quest for the Holy Grail of shoes. It's yours.
