Hello all,

This is my first post-StyleForum suit. I bought this Canali off eBay and worked with William Field of Georgetown to finish it. He added hand-stitched surgeon's cuffs, let out a wrinkle in the yoke, and brought in the waist.

Please give me all your feedback on the fit on my new suit, but please forgive the ill-fitting shirt"”I didn't even notice it was flopping over like that until after I lost my photographer! I'll try to post better pictures soon.

Thanks!

Particularly given how trim the suit is cut on you, the sleeves and legs hang really nicely. The shoulders also look dead-on. I'd prefer more room in the chest, but that's a more subjective opinion.

Thanks! Now if only I could pair it with a shirt like the one you've documented on your blog . . .

Please update later when you get that PZ tux.

Oh, absolutely. I might post the fit on the PZ before going to the tailor to feel more confident in my requests.

That's an absolutely superb job. Stick with it. If it's comfortable I couldn't imagine it looking much better.

He changed the fake buttons holes on the sleeves into real holes, and did the stitching by hand.

Are you planning on wearing it with, or without a tie? If so, it would be easier to assess the fit if your collar was closed and accomodating a tie knot.,

very impressive.. nice trim fit to jacket and taper to pants. Looks tight, but not overly skin-tight. Either you have a great stock fit in Canali, or a great tailor (or both...)

What will be purpose of this suit? the fit seems a bit much for TBD (trad business dress), but maybe it would work, depending on the industry....

Great looking, slim fitting suit.

next time, a straight forward shot would be better. The slight up angle might be changing the look of the fit.

Are those flap pockets or jetted? Hard to tell, on my computer anyway.

With a tie. I'll post a picture soon.
