Who makes nice grenadine ties, and/or where are they readily available? I had not heard the term "grenadine" before joining SF, but I have since come to really love the look of all of the grenadine ties people have been posting (such as the excellent examples above). However, when I've searched on ebay or even google for "grenadine," very little has come up.

They are common, but the best price/quality ratio is probably Hober.

I agree with this evaluation of Hober ties, and not only for grenadines. I scored about 4-5 grenadine ties at SOF, made by Michael Drake, for $25 each. I'll try to post pics. I have quite a few grenadine ties.

This is actually a grenadine, though you can't see the weave:

It's not a grenadine like yours or like the ones in my pic. It's a tighter weave that I call "honeycomb." I have no idea what the real name is or even if there is one. Here are some more (the ones on either end):

I think we've discussed this before, but is that what T&A calls a lace weave?

It's hard to tell from this picture, but that jacket looks too long.
