DB Overcoat styling

I'm having a coat made up but I'm a bit undecided on the design. Lets discuss, which is better. or

They are both terrible. No notched lapels on DB, please.

I beg to differ, although not a standard notch. Belvest for Louis Boston.

That was an oversight. It was always going to have peaked lapels, im more concerned with the button configuration. Images now updated.

To me the second looks more grand or (for want of a better term) chic. The first, in comparison looks a little too buttoned-up, lacking a little flair. I guess I like a good amount of lapel.

I'd vote for #2, but with the button stance for all the buttons raised a few inches.
