Brillant Alchem. Though my command of French grammar & syntax is terrible & my memory of the vocabulary non-existant, please accept this humble haiku. Bracketed word reflects ignorance of French word. Feel free to post revision. I have no idea whether it it's permissible to have internal rhyme in haiku structure, but I really like it.

You know in haiku there is little grammar or syntax: you stack up words.

The main probleme in your haiku is that you'll need to had some words for proper syntax and that will hurt your word count. Let's give it a try:
Une bonne chanson
pour mon hÃ

[Iowa is a pain because it eats up 3 syllabs.]
