Hello lads. I need your help on some alternatives to SLP denim. I want a 15cm opening to fit over the Wyatts but need a pair of black denim that has a looser top block(thighs ~ 30cm across laid flat) and a taper all the way down to 15cm and not look like a damn carrot. A quick question here: What size would I be in CCP(sidezip/tornado) boots in general if I am a 43 in Carpes/Layer-0? I know the sizing can be all over the place depending on the chosen leather upper and/or the shape of the toe(wide/narrow last?!?). Just wanna know where I stand sizewise...- onijo84

Thanks NN. I slap that Saphir on the other pairs without ovethinking. Been doing it for years. It is the mottled finish(black/red) on these that got me a feeling little leary. I got them for the finish and don't want them darkened in anyway.- onijo84

It has been years since I did anything with this pair as far as shoe care goes and where I live(tropical), leather tends to get dry & stiff. That vamp and shaft is a little nappy on my pair. I tested on a corner and it darkened. It is lined with calf leather so applying anything inside to work the shell is not gonna do anything either. Might drop Alessio a line and see what he has got to say.- onijo84

Those own pair of Layer-O blood red reverse shell cordovans, what have you all used to nourish the leather without darkening it? I used a small amount of Saphir Creme Universelle(Lanolin, Beeswax & Jojoba) and it appears to have made the spot a little darker. Let me know. I don't want these to...- onijo84
