How many designers wear their own clothes?
before Dior Homme launched denim in S/S 03 hedi wore his battered apc ns...good to hear he's gone back to them, in the 4 years his line produced denim they never topped the inspiration. I am not surprised, Hedi and Dior split, no reason for him to continue to wear Dior.- tom2517

A (small) Tod's bag disaster
Wow, you just saved me almost 2k. I was about to buy the T computer bag but then the store didn't have the brown color that I want. Luckily I ran into this thread, I guess I will stick to my Tumi for another while, though I am really getting sick of the nylon look......- tom2517

Interesting, I was thinking earlier that those buttonholes looked more like Zegna Couture than anything else I've seen. And Zegna Couture isn't shabby, pretty darn close to top tier. Brad Pitt at Cannes. 2 Different Classic inspired looks
All of the sudden no one is saying that he looks good anymore. Well, Tom Ford's suits are made by Zegna, while Zegna suits are fairly well made, it is not in the top tier. I haven't been to Tom Ford's store in NY, but do they offer complete bespoke suits? Or MTM done by Zegna....- tom2517

Seraphin – Somebody Must Know!

I also checked out the Bond tux and they are HKD38000 here in Hong Kong which is slightly more expensive than a "non-Bond" version. The Bond version is cut a bit slimmer. Gianni Versace Couture leather jackets are the softest and best made I have ever seen. I'm talking those made in 1990s, not Donatella's which i have no experience with. Incrediblty fine stitching, detailing and oh-so-soft plush leathers that everybody loves to touch like abby skin. Not sure who...- tom2517

Who makes the best leather jackets???
I used to be of the persuasion that leather jackets were to be more rough and rugged and not to be worn in a conservative way. That though has changed. The way that high end leather manufacturers treat the hides, create a very high end item that shouldn't be "broken in" like the traditional form...- tom2517
