BNWT Harris Tweed SC, Southwick x Epaulet, 38

BNWT Harris Tweed SC, Southwick x Epaulet, 38

Due to a regrettable rash of buying more stuff (you know what I mean, I'm sure), I have to sell a wonderful sport coat. This is a great SC in a truly terrific Harris Tweed that has never been worn before. Photos, details, and measurements below. Please feel free to PM with questions if you'd like.

The fabric was termed "Midnight Static" Harris Tweed and is by Southwick for Epaulet. My phone went nuts with this jacket, and it's very difficult to convey the color and weave of this fabric. The fabric is a melange of dark navy and gray yarns with a subtle goldenrod accent. My iPhone photos make the SC look patterned, but from any distance it reads really as a textured solid. The hand on this fabric is really soft for a Harris Tweed -- I've owned many tweeds, and this is definitely the softest non-Italian tweed I've felt.

The jacket is done in an unstructured fit, which makes the jacket extremely versatile. That it's only 3/8 lined means that you can wear it in cool-but-not-cold weather without overheating, and as the fabric is soft for a tweed, it won't be scratchy at all even though it's unlined. (All of my tweed SCs are unlined and they wear great.) I wouldn't hesitate to wear this informally, either; it'd be a natural match for denim and chinos as well as dress trousers. It's a perfect versatile piece for the upcoming season.

Aside from trying on the garment in my home, I have never worn this jacket before. You'll see, therefore, that the sleeve tag remains attached, and the breast pocket is still sewn shut. And despite its being never worn, this has still been kept on a suit hanger in a garment bag with cedar, in a pet-free, smoke-free home.

The SC is a tagged 37 but it fits like a 38 (also part of why I never wore it and why I'm selling). These measurements are taken directly from the garment:

Shoulder: 17"
Chest: 20.5"
Sleeve: 24.75"
Length: 29.75"

Purchased new for $775. Yours for $305 shipped SOLD.

All items ship with free USPS Priority Mail in the U.S, tracking and insurance included. International shipping at reduced cost. All payments in USD via Paypal. First to pay gets the items, and all sales final as with all SF B&S transactions. And as always, feel free to PM with questions or offers.
