Hello,

I am selling a few pieces of white tie formal wear that I unfortunately won't have the chance to wear in the foreseeable future. I am selling a shirt, waistcoat and tailcoat/trousers. Finally, we have the tailcoat and trousers.

These are from Clermont Direct, so not a well known name I'm afraid but good quality!

They are both made out of high quality 11 ounce barathea black wool (sorry if the photo is slightly off-colour. They really are very black). The peak lapels are faced with ribbed silk. All very traditional styling. The trousers have the proper evening dress double piping down the side, though in the right light you can get away with wearing them for black tie events as well.

The tailcoat is labelled a 36S, but obviously since you don't button up anything you could get away with being a size or maybe two sizes bigger. I frequently wear size 38s and it still has a fair bit of space, as a rough indicator. The sleeves measure out at about 24/5". Please ask if you want any other measurements btw, I just didn't think that providing typical suit style measurements would really be useful for a tailcoat.

The trousers are sized 30, but actually measure out closer to 33". There are little side clasps to adjust it down. They are single pleated. The inside leg measurement is 29" with 2" hemmed.

Oddly enough I didn't have a massive number of opportunities to wear this outfit, so they are both in very good, if not like new, condition.

Talking postage, they're made out of decent wool so weigh a bit more. As a rough guide I'll say £12 to UK, $30 to US, but email me your location for a more precise estimate. If you buy any of my other listings I can do a reduced, combined rate.

I should add that I'm interested in a quick sale, so fire away with offers.
