Why So Many Small Sizes?

An additional thought: Keep in perspective the type of guy posting on styleforum. By and large I see literally an army of men every day in suits, but most of them probably give no where near as much thought as the guys on here. I think by and large your average ex-jock 48L is not reading a forum that discusses pocket squares (I think I am the exception to the rule), so keep that in mind when you consider the sample of people involved.

Yeah. I'm constantly struggling to find shirts/suits that fit me. I wear a 42R and always have to shorten the sleeves - a 40R has perfect sleeves, but is too snug in the chest. I have a large torso, and it is irritating. I have to shorten sleeves on nearly everything.
