pretty sure UK porter is ran separately to US porter (e.g. they have slightly different stock etc.), and goes on sale quite a bit later than US porter

I am a founding member of Mr Porter US, but I live in Canada and I didn't get an email / don't have access to any sale prices right now.

..... So I just spent $500 on a longtime grail jacket on Yoox and I've got no spending money left over.

Just to be clear Wardrobe staples never ever go on sale....even late in the season

Yeah, they definitely do, just not all of them. A bunch of lanvin trainers and margiela trainers that were marked as staples hit sale prices later in the season last year, but a majority of them were fixed at retail.
