I think you're really reaching for that. They look fine. As classic as it gets for shorts.

If he wanted to look all SW&D, sure. For MC, though, the fit looks great.


Agree with you and MrJ. Everything looks good except the shoes, (and I'm not even getting into the hats) and while I know that has been beaten to death, these look so slack and sloppy I don't know how they stay on!

I agree with slimmer. I plan on taking this pair and the khaki pair to my tailor to do just that. I actually sized up in these. The next sized down was fine in the waist, but too tight in the hips. As to the rise, I'm finding low rise shorts and pants to be uncomfortable. I like having a little room.

I'd say your casual fits are your best yet, AAS. Some people don't like shorts. It's 110 here. If my pants aren't linen, they're shorts. Some times linen shorts.
