haha, I can see where you are coming from. Being that I live in California they are not nearly as ubiquitous, but people have blurted 'mandals' at least once to my face. At least I don't fit the euro-trash profile so I am not too worried about puttin off that impression. But don't get me wrong, I don't love sandals by any means, but they got their place.

sometimes I can't really wear leather shoes/boots or sneakers, gotta let the little piggies breath ya know? And it's way better than flip flops...

Haha, yes. I can see how there is a slight shift in culture between ATL and Cali. And beyond that, standing next to a beast like that means you should never get **** from anyone. I assume you are outside of a whiskey distillery/slaughter house one-stop-shop and that is the owner's car. If it's your car then please forgive the mandals jab and spare my life. :)

And +1,000,000 on the flip flops. You'd think ATL was an island judging by how many people wear flip flops EVERYWHERE.

EDIT: Fixed that for you CPT. Just realized I misspoke.

You know why people wear sandals on tropical islands? Because it's hot. You know why people wear sandals in Atlanta? Because it's really ******* hot.

Sandals absolutely have their place. As long as they're maturely styled, I have absolutely no issues with them. Now, flip flops or those canvas bro-sandal things with the bottle openers in them on the other hand...

No, and I really should change it. I'm not military at all- the handle comes from use on star trek boards when I was a fair bit younger, and I just got used to it. :embar:

I would, however, love to fly fighter jets. Very cool bits of tech.

kgmessier, I wish your pants were like an inch shorter in rise... your fits sometimes feel unbalanced to me. But I'm just nitpicking!

Trying out my newly thrifted tripod. SC was in the car as I was taking measurements to determine the optimal distance for posing. Like the pen? It's from my tax atty. I can write off the cost of posting in this thread now.

I find that I really dislike ties without a jacket- whereas I tend to really like jackets without ties.

yeah, Digmenow it's all good except the tie. also a casual belt there like some sort of braid or madrass or bright color would have worked too...
