Bostonian (by Hanover, I think) shell short wings for WTW…. There something about the shell they used on these models… the natural color variation and patina is amazing.

Turns out it was The Lloyd, model code 0670. According to the information I found, they were made in the early 80s as a limited run that's why they're not in the Catalog.

Another beautiful pair. Your collection is very distinctive, much more than nearly everyone on the thread. Honest question. What reactions, if any, do you get from strangers, co-workers, etc, when you are wearing some of these distinctive pairs?
One could say he has... more monopoly on the good stuff. 😎

Thank you! I get lots of compliments on the bolder pairs from strangers. I do have a reputation around the office for having the fanciest shoes.

I always read his name as "mormon poly"... and now you can't unsee it

Gentlemen! Long time! A happy Easter to those that celebrate.

I’ve made the difficult to decision to cull a few of my vintage pairs due to either less than perfect fit or lack of use. Always glad to discuss via PM.

First two pairs I am planning to cut are my treasured Nettleton shell longwings. They are in amazing condition and my favorite longwing pattern. But alas i need to be realistic that they feel a half size short for me and, as a result, i am not reaching for them. They are truly glorious and it pains me to let them go but someone else should give them the attention and wear they deserve. Size 9.5e. Asking $300 but very happy to discuss via PM in the interest of finding a great home for them.

Second pair is here (pardon the cross post): https://www.styleforum.net/threads/...ade-b-s-t-thread.647058/page-41#post-11768537

Green and blue Easter theme today. Some shell Florsheim PTBs got called up for action.

Wishing you all a relaxing and restful long weekend.

Been a long time since I've worn these ol' zombie-kickers...

Beat to hell, but still good in a pinch.

I had been hunting for a pair of Florsheim 93630 weathered moss in my size. For years. I concluded they never made them in eee width.

So what's an enthusiast to do? Buy a pair of 93602 and send them to Alberto Suastez for conversion. After Alberto did his magic,
Tobias Crislip rebuilt with JR soles, toe taps, cat paw heels, and green stitching.

Paired with a vintage watch. Happy Saturday, shoe pals.

Jarman for Sears.

These hover between tier 1 and 2. Very nice stitching work but cheaper materials.
