It includes all sources of carbs. However in practice, I don't think leafy veggies add too much net carbs unless you are eating them by the bucketful. Watch out for roots and tubers though.

Random curiousity. How many cals are your d1 and d2? What are your casein shakes? How many oz turkey in a sandwich?

Seriously, I think my perfect diet is still just meat + dairy + veg/fruit/nuts. Super healthy (as long as you balance lean vs. *****) and doesn't feel restrictive at all, especially if you allow yourself a hamburger bun or a side of rice a couple times a week.

But then there are also weekends.

Is a PWO shake of 2:1 carbs with preferably dextrose still wise on this plan, or does that change, too?

Are those turkey sandwiches on plain old whole wheat ? If so, do those 2 slices fall below the 50g maximum on low carb days?

I should probably invest the time and use fitday, i keep hearing great things.

1700 Kcal a day? I am jealous. I am on 1200 Kcal a day for the depletion days. I have to choke down a bag of shiratake noodles every day to keep hunger pangs at bay... lol...

Fitday is great, but I don't like it for things like slices of bread because the carbs and calorie numbers vary so widely depending on how big the slice is, etc. I usually create a custom entry in fitday for the particular bread I am eating. The bread I eat is about 60 Kcal and 11g of carbs per slice.

2 words - shiratake noodles. Zero calories and I swear the stuff expands to twice its size in your stomach. It takes the hunger pangs away. Also, caffeine helps. I usually make a cup of chai tea with splenda and some nondairy creamer and that seems to help with the hunger.
