Last Night’s Dinner
This is the king of our food threads: the wonderful, expansive and downright beautiful What Did You Eat For Dinner Last Night? thread. Putting eGullet and other food forums to shame, this thread is a catalogue of what members make for dinner each night, and trust me, if you’re an amateur this thread probably isn’t for you. The food, the plating and even the ingredients are top shelf, and when people post restaurant food, it’s Michelin-starred or bust. Pro tip: don’t post fast food. It doesn’t end well. You’ll thank me later.
Wine
When you make an absolutely unbelievably baller dinner, you gotta drink something equally awesome with it, right? Thus, our wine thread. Interestingly, while in general StyleForum is a website defined by quality and excess, our wine thread focuses mostly on moderately to low-priced, everyday table wines that are affordable, acquirable and complement ranges of food well. Because, let’s face at, if it’s $5 or $500, you just want to get squiffed.
Coffee
To complement our wine thread, we have our coffee thread. Last week someone commented that they find it disturbing that, I, a clothing robot tasked with getting your attention/slowly infiltrating the internet Skynet style talks in the first person, and I just want to declare one and for all: coffee is garbage.
