Hey guys, yet again Erica and I are heading back to Pitti Uomo to cover it for all of you. This time I've brought along my business partner Lars as well. He is admittedly not a CM guy, but he´s no stranger to pulling on a 3 piece when called for.

1000

Lars "Lasse" and I just casually strolling around the courtyard of the place we're staying at wearing 3 piece suits. You know, as you do

This time we decided to rent a cabin by a small vineyard/castle in Tuscan hills to just unwind for a few days, since the build up for this journey has been pretty hectic. We've spent 3 days just bicycling up and down the hills, visiting small villages in the hillsides, drinking wine and eating some amazing Italian food:

1000

Our first peacock sighting this time around, surely not the last though

1000

Took our bikes up to Regello to buy some locally grown stuff for dinner and to have a 3 hour lunch at a restaurant on a small piazza

1000

After bicycling up a ridiculously long hill we stopped for a beer in a quite picturesque place

1000

My friend Lasse is quite at home in an Italian kitchen

1000

Yeah, I'll never have a career as a food photographer. Tasted brilliant though

1000

Erica hanging out on the grass with a peacock casually strolling by in the background

Tomorrow we're heading for Florence though, to take part of the #menswear circus that is Pitti Uomo. As some of you may know, I also have my own brand of suits and jackets, so this time we decided to try out something new. Together with SF AV's @MILER Menswear we're renting a nice apartment centrally located in Florence and doing an off site trunk show for two afternoons (strategically planned so we can attend Pitti until noon time and not compete with the really big night time events).

We will try to cover as much streetstyle, events and Pitti exhibitions possible in the days to come. Be sure to subscribe to the #pitti90 tag to get updates on all the Pitti related threads on Styleforum during this edition.

If you're on Instagram, make sure you follow Styleforum's account for live updates throughout the week.

Unsurprisingly, the Pitti tags on Instagram are already cringe-inducing - although I do wonder how these people find the energy year after year. Looking forward to your shots, and to the pictures of the show!

Pitti in summer. I'm looking forward to some extreme peacockry, and @SartodiNapoli 's trenchant critiques thereof.

why do you feel the need to invite that ridiculous hater?

Lighten up. He's fun.

But if you don't think you can cope, just put him on "ignore".
