Who, in this day and age, leaves their phone's beeps on? I don't mean ringtones etc. I mean beeps from when you're dialing or using the phone in general. You're not visually impaired, and you're in public. Stop being crass.

Probably a black, or hispanic person. They are tactless with phones. Also, people call me Clark Kent a lot because of my glasses, and I guess my face. I get called it by a random person probably 3 times a week. It is always being yelled at me by a black or hispanic person. Why is that?

Same reason all my black customers say I look like celebrities I look nothing like, and probably the same reason Italian customers call my asian customers Jackie Chan.

What is that reason? At first I thought it was these people have some cultural connection to superman, then I thought much more simply that they have no tact. They always have an attitude like they are the most clever people in the world yelling it at me.

What is that reason? At first I thought it was these people have some cultural connection to superman, then I thought much more simply that they have no tact. They always have an attitude like they are the most clever people in the world yelling it at me.

Do they yell "hey you look like Clark Kent", or do they yell "Hey you goofey Clark Kent lookin motherfucker"?

I think the real reason that they yell it is because deep in their hearts they know whitey really is the Übermensch.

It is in-between really. Something to make their friend's laugh. They are regular comedians to their peers.

In all honesty, what's not to get? It's feedback, which is understandable in the absence of actual keys on a touchscreen phone and particularly necessary if phone has a resistive touch screen as taps need some degree of force to register. Audio feedback is quicker than shifting your focus between keyboard and text. While I don't have my sound on I still turn on haptic feedback for the same reason.

Except that touchscreens have visual cues, such as shifting buttons, which if you're staring at the phone should already be enough of a feedback mechanism. If you're out in public and I can hear your beeping from 30 feet away, you've got your **** too loud.

I'm not sure what it's like in your part of the world but I don't get how here in the UK fat woman wear tight coloured leggings. It seriously bothers me.

In the outer suburbs of any Australian city that **** is endemic plus in the summer you can find them wandering about in bike shorts and filthy bare feet. Ugg boots in the winter.
