If you copy yourself on all your outgoing emails you can just purge your sent folder regularly without reviewing the contents. Having everything in your in-box makes it a bit easier to sort and winnow.

I am teaching a seminar on a notoriously difficult book this semester. Well, moments ago I just discovered what I think will be a great way to present a point tonight, so's to make it at least somewhat clear. And so I made a sound to celebrate (because I am still at home). But my sound of celebration sounded more like the sound a cat makes in the act of meow (sad cat). From this I concluded that I am unconsciously sad, and that my mental apparatus used the apparent occasion of joy to let out the repressed feeling of sadness.

They're saved long term but not deleted. Kind of like off-site storage.

where does one access them? i see trash and deleted items, folders. but not an archived messages folder.
