you dont need that to log in. just your email address and password. unless you made up a fake bday as a password. which would be

Since I moved they've been prompting me with this "we don't recognize your computer, so you need to verify your account" bullshit.

that's weird, I log on from different computers all the time and it has never been a problem.

My insulin pump just died, again. Six years and it's died twice, once two years ago, and now I'm past the warranty. Buttons get stuck down, and *poof*, it's dead. ******* thing was six thousand dollars, you'd think it would last longer. At least they'll Fedex Overnight me one, and then I get to see how my new insurance likes it.

Could be worse, could have happened two weeks ago before my insurance kicked in.

I was in the restroom drying my hands when some jerk opens the door and stands there. Granted, I didn't lock the door because I was only washing my hands, but this guy (6' maybe) swung the door open, stood there, and walked in while I was still inside. I was incredibly uncomfortable, and immediately left. I wanted to say something to him, but all I could muster through gritted teeth was "******* asshole." Ugh, it boils my blood to witness such unkept manners.

We'll be seeing you a lot here. Have fun :)

Edit: CalTex, I wear basketball shorts, jeans, etc. to class. It's college. Why would one possibly get dressed up unless you're going out?

Most days I wear khaki shorts and a tshirt, but its been a few years since I wore cargo shorts and a graphic tee. It was supposed to be a stupid/funny comment lol

That would not help him with the replacement. For instance, OHIP will only get you a pump once very five years: http://www.health.gov.on.ca/english/public/pub/adp/insulin.html

Sorry to hear about your pump, Gib.

$340 vet bill for vaccines and tests, towards which I'm skeptical about their necessity. That seems excessive.

Hah! Three kittens have been put through the paces (just got back from the youngest one getting his last shot for rabies) and then 2.5k purchase price for the three of them. :(

Three!!! I thought there were only two.

The older two got a little brother who's five weeks younger. The breeder had a litter with several "blue" ones. Bluish/grey to white with tabby markings. One was exceptionally beautiful, and quite the character, but she was keeping him to show. When he was about four weeks old she noticed the very tip of his tail was kinked/crooked. Either the tip broke in utero or fused wrong as an embryo or something. Judges will run their hands down the tail and that kink is apparently a big flaw. Can't see it through all the fur. So he became available and we brought him home in August. I was pretty concerned over three but nothing worse than two. Also, he is an exceptionally good natured and affectionate guy with a huge purr. I'll post a pic or two this weekend.
