That dude in the back of that photo with the tan jacket holding the boots with the classic "Y Grip"... He's got the flipper look. Wonder what those boots were hehe

Some kind of hiking boots, but I can’t say for sure what kind. This store was having a $15 bag sale (standard plastic grocery store bag). I did pretty well with two bags stuffed.

Well I was off by a 150 years it turns out.
It's a tankard by John Kirkup from 1755.
The examples below don't have my interesting etched Armorial ,any body have any idea what it is ?
It's a dragon with a star in middle and 24 crosses.
Taking it to an expert on Monday.

Wow! Where did you find something like this? Estate sale, sitting amongst the silverplate at goodwill for 2.99? I love the stories behind the finds. Glad you found this.

John King. Geroge III era, 1770s. Looks like this one. What I read was he was known for that style, with different coat of arms

Close mines earlier George 2.
The Q with a triangle is 1755.
I emailed a guy another auction house and he is dying to see it.
