In this part of the world, all the GW stores go 50% off every second Saturday. I rarely get to go during the day, as I'm always working, but since I pass right by the little local GW on the way home I take it as a personal challenge to see what I can roust up (that a day's-worth of shoppers have missed). Dropped in this past Saturday at about 7pm, and here's the result:

Clockwise: Bally woven, white women's Durango cowboy boots, a pair of Dan Post for the men, Sonia Rykel wrap, super-heavy Filson, garish Gant, Polo, JV and Billy Reid.

Truly awful Blarney Castle (but salable) golf sweater, women's vintage Benetton, and a really nice jacket from "Creations Jez" in Montreal. Detachable sheepskin collar.

Seems like it was Woolrich day.

Ancient Roebuck denim shearling, fodder Polo DB, and a minty recent Ben Sherman suit. Patagucci jeans at the front. My size, but the legs were so narrow I could hardly walk in 'em.

Loved this one: brand new $229 Mercedes-Benz two-bottle leather wine tote for five bucks? Sure. This stuff always flips fast.

No bullshit at all, I legit had a nightmare last night I was walking into a thrift store to see someone hauling out a pile of vicuna Kiton suits, all my size. I woke up nauseous and sweating.

Once in a while I luck out. AE Patriot Brown Loafers on the bay for $49. Little wear top or bottom. I could not believe they retail $695.00. got them today.
