That's a great article and reminds me how closely I read this thread as I remember pretty much all those finds. Didn't know the LV case story though, that's amazing. i don't find 1% of the stuff the hardcore thrifters on here find but it's the thrill of the treasure hunt that makes it worth doing year after year.

Very similar to Jack Victor. Fused Construction. I always seem to find them in Cashmere. Actually I'm not sure I have found one that wasn't cashmere yet.

I think I would buy most any suit that was cashmere. Obviously, some brands would be an exception. But, I can't imagine many really cheap brands even making a cashmere suit.
