Dear person who describes garments on ebay as "V-Neck Long Sleeve Blazer with pants,"

Please don't ever change. The world loves you just the way you are.
Don't write "NWT Kiton Super 180 wool windowpane navy blue suit." That will be stupid!

God I love that. I have often wondered when browsing her stuff......what the hell is a v-neck blazer? Could there be any other shape possible other than v-neck?

^ I like how they have a little Doily / Skirt on that bottle of Window Cleaning Solution.
There's a word that you don't hear every day... "doily". When I was younger, my grandmother taught me to tat. This is a way of making lace with a shuttle. Anyway, she would make these grand quilts and shawls. My skills would only allow me to make doilies. She placed these doilies all over her house; Under plants, under pictures, and under the Holy Bible that each room in the house (including the bathrooms) contained. Every week, she would make me stretch the doilies to make sure that they weren't shrinking in the Alabama humidity. Ahhh... the good ol' days of simple living.

Hey all, below is a are my beloved Johnston Murphy Aristocraft Made in USA tassle loafers. Can this be fixed by a cobbler? Can one of you fix this? As you can see I already tried pushing it back in where it snapped, but, I cannot make that happen/make it stay. Help?

You'd also see me on hoarders in no more than 5 years.

Sometimes I wonder about that, too. I start to get a little worried when I can't contain it in all in two large rooms in my basement. I really need to thin out a lot of stuff. I still have stuff that I bought when I first started into this hobby/business. Its mostly stuff that I thought was going to make money. You know the stuff. When you are a noob or a rookie, you think that a Nike Dry Tec polo is going to bring lots of money. Or that collection of Tommy Bahama I have that I would just like to burn instead!

not much thrifting action, save for some fodder. but i did find these at an antique mall which are pretty damn awesome.

Is that second one very old? I thought those were nothing? Have I been passing up $$ all this time?

If these were a half size smaller, I'd offer you one of my cats for them.

I do wear an 11.5. If @txwoodworker accepts Cats, I'll go get several to trade!

New line of Allen Edmonds I have never seen anywhere before.

Older, I think. Like 2005-2010-ish. Line didn't do well, got kicked to the curb.

I've redonated several bags of that stuff, and gotten receipts for tax deductions. Thought about keeping some of it for if I ever have a garage sale...but I only have garage sales when I move, which I don't plan on anytime soon. Not worth the time to list on eBay, takes up too much space, and it feels good to just get rid of it.

These were some of my exact thoughts on this. I'm still considering having a garage sale. But, I wonder if I wouldn't be better off with the tax deduction.

I hate having a garage sale. It seems like a losing proposition. BUT, last year my wife and I had a garage sale and made $1500. Once, you figure all the hours it took two of us to get ready and to work the sale, we didn't make much for our time. But, it was nice to get rid of a lot of stuff. We still had two big truckloads of stuff to donate to goodwill.

Levi's Big E Trucker - anyone have an estimate on the age for this? First big E for me.

there's a website somewhere that dates these things pretty specifically based on the buttons and the patch. i know your patch is mostly gone but you can see it's the "square" kind.

i've got i think 4 of these in the closet and like @Letric wrote they're all from the late 60s-71, they have a way smaller patch and "cheetoh" stitching. i suspect yours is earlier.

there should be a single digit on the back of the buttons. by the 70s levi's newer factories had 3 digits, but the older ones all used single digit stamps

looks great! size?
