I don't think your gonna see it any cheaper, you could probably flip down the road if you wanted to. imo

It's funny that since I entered into this world , I view all personal clothes purchases like this. Sure, maybe I do it a little bit to justify buying something, but it does take the sting out knowing that you can recoup at least some of your money down the road if you want to.

With some of these amazing finds posted lately (which I am still wading through), I decided my meager clothing finds can't compete. But, I did find a couple of things that I think are interesting.

First, is a 1934 photograph of the Justices of the United States Supreme Court. I don't know if this is worth much, but I'm a lawyer and it will look great in my law office.

The second is a HEAVY gorgeous lead crystal ashtray. At the estate sale I bought it at, it looked purple. But, under the flourescent lights in my office, the lead in crystal shows bright blue.

It is a beautiful and very detailed design. I'm not sure of the maker yet.

These crappy I phone pictures don't do it justice.

I also weighed it because I was curious how heavy it is. It weighs 3 pounds! That doesn't seem like much except when you consider its just an ashtray.

Use it as a paperweight, now lawyers can't smoke in their offices right?

My finds today: some silk fodder, coach suspenders, and THIS...

Overcoat, crazy evening-type charcoal overcoat, with a strange sheen to it. Need to investigate fabric further when I arrive home.

i believe you can if the building is free standing or the own the whole thing.

one day I will own the building, and I will be able to smoke in the office.

felt like thrifting a little weird today.

5x 1970s Mickey Mouse x Elgin wall clocks, two with crochet bands. Available (except the blue band one, in my kids room). Kitchen knife (discount in Paris, Laguiole) on top of one for scale. These are ******* awesome.

I find it odd that I never find a single Nicky Milano tie in a thrift store. I always find them in multiples. Part of today's tie haul: Nicky x 22!
(the two in the middle of the bottom row are really cool raw silk)
