Speaking of which, I've got a rotator cuff injury and have to do band stretches every now and again, which totally helps. Not sure if that would ease some of your pain Wes, but it might be something to look into. There are a bunch of tutorials on the web.

One purchase today.

I have wanted to find a pair of dirty bucks so these should fill that void and they seem to be quite comfortable so far.

What size do you wear? I might have some Dirty Bucks (that are real bucks, the ones you posted are loafers).

Careful with not using a cart.

I used to never use a cart until I had absolutely no way to carry the load any more. It was kind of a superstition for me.

However, a few months ago (August I think) I started to develop a horrible case of thrifters elbow. Prolonged time periods of heavy wool coats over the left forearm while shuffling the racks with the right. That coupled with my renewed interest in guitar immobilized my arm for at least all of September and October. I had to cancel 3 golf outings that I was looking forward to, and had to minimize thrifting, some loops were skipped altogether. Years ago I would play guitar 3 to 4 hours a day, sometimes more. Now I can only play for about 10 minutes a day. Even photography has been a challenge. It has been some of the worst pain I have had in a long time.

So....now I grab a cart.

Probably impossible, but can anyone ID this wallet I found at a council store? Bifold, 2 spots for cards on each side, and 2 bill slots, croc on the outside, i'm not sure how to tell if it's real croc but it is very glossy and smooth, not very leathery.

The only identifying mark is "Made in Italy"

On the other side, it looks like there is an extremely faded imprint of a campital L or F in fancy writing and the letters co next to it. Was $5

Outside seems too cheap to be real croc or gator, but the inside feels like quality leather.

I dropped my wallet while I was there. Send it to me.

No offense taken, I was fairly injury prone, even with hitting the gym hard 4-5 days a week. It took a toll on my body cuz I was also a multi sport athlete too. But yea, seemingly correct, my body just sorta failed me towards the end, some people just don't get injured and some do, luck of the draw.

Now off to plan my thrifting route to gather wonderful things for the gift exchange.

What are these besides probably not worth the kop?

Here is the Real Deer Antler Chandelier I found at an estate sale yesterday. I had to drive my old truck to go pick it up today.

WOW, this thing is larger and cooler than I first thought.

It is 36 inches in diameter 32" inches tall, has 9 lights with rawhide shades and is made up of REAL Mule Deer Antlers not reproduction or casts.

The craftmanship that goes into these is amazing. The wires are all totally concealed within the antlers and each screw or bolt is countersunk so they are concealed. The total circumference is 112 inches!

I'm still working on the other stuff I found at the estate sale and a trip to GW a few days ago. The highlight of the Goodwill trip is here. This is a definite first for me:

Lol. Yeah. I got that. Selvedge is also spelled "Selvage" and sometimes has a yellow line instead, or are those two signifiers of women's selvedge? I wasn't sure and Google wasn't being my friend today...

Selvage is a valid spelling as well. And selvedge IDs come in all shapes, sizes and colors.

Mostly resolved now.

I found a youtube video of some stretches to do regularly. But unfortunately I did not realize those were preventative, not remedial, and ended up making the whole situation much much worse.

Then I learned more about what was really happening. The pain in the elbow is only the victim, the problem is really an issue with tight muscles and facia in the forearm wich all pull at the elbow. I found some massage techniques to relax the forearm muscles, and have made rapid progress since then.

Welcome to my world...

Forearms must be difficult to work on without going to a massage/therapist. I use my foam rollers so much that I need a new one now. My issue is tightness in the thoracic spine and the hips, caused by years of endurance sports coupled with sitting at my desk improperly (slouched). It's a long road back to health!
