Where can I buy the Tarrago in the EU? The UK stores I've found won't ship it due to it being an aerosol.

Can the Nano Protector stuff be easily stripped off the suede/leather or is this a permanent coat?
if you want to remove it just use a suede-nubuck eraser and then a brush or wash your shoes with a suede cleaner(i used once Tide too hahah)

No. like any top coat, it will break down and need reapplying. Not sure what you mean by 'stripped off' though......
if i remember correctly collonil recommend to reapply their nanoprotector every 6 months!! i do the same with the tarrago nano protector and till now it works great for me!

that`s reassuring. I like the whole process of reapplying stuff on the shoes vs. leaving a one-time application, set it and forget it type of affair. :D

If I use a suede brush on a sprayed shoes, will it take off the spray?
it depends on how much product you have applied but generally if you won't overdo it you won't brake the barrier ! If you use the suede eraser (maybe the suede crepe cleaning brush too) you ll brake the barrier have been created by the protector

Anyone have experience with Abbeyhorn's shoe brush?

http://www.abbeyhorn.co.uk/buy/horn-backed-shoe-brush-large_585.htm

Am I correct in assuming their boar bristles aren't as soft as horse mane?

I'm looking for something like Allen Edmonds brush, but with a better looking backing, if anyone has suggestions

http://www.allenedmonds.com/aeonline/producti_SF587_1_40000000001_-1

They're nice, but I prefer a larger brush anyway. I do use an Abbeyhorn suede brush, which is nice. I also currently use Saphir horse hair and Collonil goat hair brushes — both wood-backed. IIRC, boar bristle is not as soft as horse hair, which is not as soft as goat hair (out of which many makeup brushes are made).

I know Edoya makes an exceptionally nice brush, but I don't think their backings are any nicer than simple wood.

However, I suspect I'm not telling you anything you don't already know...

Before I get started with it, is this the Lexol I'm looking for, gents?
If your looking for a conditioner , yes. Lexol is a brand . They make numerous products . Generally speaking though when people on this thread mention Lexol that's the one they are referring to.
