And the fact that he is built/looks like a monster. While resembling chiseled granite has nothing to do with fighting ability, much of the general public equate these two things.
I mean, people think I can actually kick some ass.
And maybe you can. You are right about looks being deceiving, however. Fedor looks like a man who wakes up regularly with a craving for icecream, and indulges it. And apparently, he runs 10 miles a day and trains very hard, so certainly it's not that he is not doing his cardio. Mark Coleman, on the other hand, looks like he is about 80% steroids, and has muscles on his muscles, and his fighting is embarrassing. I feel like I inadvertently put everything in slo-mo when I watch him fight.
A really decent kickboxer I know looks like Santa, but that dude can move, and you realize pretty quickly that there is a lot of muscle under the fat. Punches and kicks like a freight train. Keeps on pointing out the holes in my striking, which are small only in comparison to the holes in my ground game. Of course, no one is paying me to fight.
