New Belgium is coming to the Detroit area! I'll finally be able to get a regular supply of Ranger IPA and Sunshine Wheat instead of having friends bring them back with them anytime they travel west...

New Belgium signs with 22 distributors, will enter Michigan in late August

Wow, that looked so weird seeing all those distro's. We're so fucked here in FL that we have to basically deal with only 3 people, 2 of which do almost all the beer.

I don't think all of those distributors are here in Michigan and I only recognize a few of those names. It looks like New Belgium is entering into a bunch of new states so I imagine those distributors are spread out among those areas.

I get what you mean with regards to the relative flavor profiles. But, IMO, the Brett yeast in this saison gave it a nice earthy roundness that won't make it awkward to taste after a pale ale.

I will have to hunt that down.

drinking a lakefront fixed gear right now, not that that is special in anyways , but for this awesome weather, it is a perfect match. I'm excited for the weekend as I'll be doing a bit of a NW Indiana brewery crawl: three floyds, backroads, greenbush, and journey man distillery.

what session did you get? did they do sessions even this year? i remember hearing people liking the second one because they were able to drink the super limited tap releases while the 1st group was buying their beer.
