Spaten-Franziskaner-Bräu. That's good beer. Make sure you get to try it.

The Warsteiner is pretty good. It's as popular in Germany as Bud is in the U.S.

Don't confuse that with tasting like Bud. It tastes nothing like it.

Have fun.

Just finished a very enjoyable Sam Adams Boston Lager (my go-to beer) and now I am enjoying a Bass Pale ale.

I had two Hacker Pschorr Weisses last night and really enjoyed them. I'm pretty sure I poured them properly.

Went to Beerfest yesterday and found one really good beer and to my surprise it's brewed about 20 min. from my house. I only got to taste about 25 or so different beers in 8oz portions due to a crowd probably twice the size of last years event.

This is the beer I simply fell in love with.

I also had a question about a beer I saw there but never got a chance to try. I figured there was something good about it because they killed 3 full kegs in just over an hr (all 8oz samples).

Here it is:

I'm trying to get into beer. The three I've actually enjoyed are Hoegaarden, Hopf Weisser Bock, and the Fat Tire.

Three Floyds Alpha King by far, though I can't get it around here.

Second is my homebrewed dubbel.

Around here, for what's available, my favorites are the Flying Dog bigger beers, espeically Double Dog double pale ale and Horn Dog Barley Wine-style.

I stumbled across this tiny russian grocery stor (other eastern european goodies too) and i asked the guy to recommend me some beers as most of them i hadn't heard of. He gave me Krusovic Imperial Lager and Tinburg Dutch Brown Ale. I'm drinking the brown ale now and it's pretty good. Especially for $1.75 for a single bottle.

Wow missed this one.

Hard to pick one favorite, but it would have to be Saison DuPont - so complex, great with food and a real refresher.

I think Karmeliet Tripel is the best beer I've ever had.

A lighter, but still amazing beer is Saison Dupont.
