Time to start saving up many for those wedge sole Guidi's.
I've tried some of their derbies and boots before but didn't like their regular heel and sole for some reason.

Very very surprised. I know the guys there well and in my experience they are honest, friendly, and certainly not shady. In fact they are THE NICEST GUYS I HAVE DEALT WITH. I seriously cannot believe an established shop that has been around for well over a decade and transacted many thousands of acquisitions is going to hack an individual's credit card.
From my experience, I would not hesitate recommending them.
In fact it annoys me that people talk badly about them.

It is a long story, but the tl;dr involves terribly shady business practices, not limited to trying to hack my credit card and bank websites, etc.

i've heard my fair share of shady Vertice stories, but that's mostly from their bitter-mouthed competitors. ;)

what happened to you sounds like something [potentially] out of their control?

i've had my credit card & banking info compromised by many a company we've worked with over the past few years, and it usually comes down to a third party intercepting information at a vulnerable place in the ether, and never had anything to do with the companies i was working / transacting with.

not saying this is what happened to you, mind you, but it is certainly a possibility - the other one being a wayward employee [acting of his/her own malicious accord] was the one responsible.

really ****** either way, and sorry to hear that you were compromised in such a... fashion.

Quite often, there is more than 1 option for the leather/treatment/color when placing the order. The store receives what they pick.
Not sure what were all the options for SS14 models, but for future collections, a special order for shiny regular horse leather should be doable... check with your favorite retailer.

These are my fave iteration of augusta trainers. Did you add topy/vibram? Leather looks soft and comfy!

Thought I'd share a couple of Augusta pics from my current rotation.
.
My all black buffalo Augusta sneakers.....absolutely love them;

Sounds like Moo was a victim of

Although Vertice's 5% "tax free administrative charge" for non EU customers is just petty
