Man, I was really pulling for Dallas. I love Shaq, and Wade is looking better and better all the time, but I HATE Alonzo Mourning with a passion.

That was a great series. Some very bad officiating in a couple of games that threw things Miami's way. Dallas had the younger more athletic team but not as daring, experienced or physical as the Heat. Dallas just didnt bring it to the basket enough. They shouldve challenged the Heat a lot more. Dallas just didnt deploy the use of their assets properly.

I wonder if Dirk and Cuban are breaking windows somewhere.

I imagine Cuban just bought a few hundred stationary bikes, installed them in a room in his home, and they're just knocking them over, one by one.

A drunken, blind donkey could have better handled basically every move Thomas has made with the Knicks, for that matter.

It's like every time you think Thomas has made his worst mistake, he finds a new one that leaves you awestruck.

Isiah Thomas has a special knack for running down franchises like the CBA and the Knicks to the ground. But, one thing you cannot question has been his ability to draft well. Its everything else about being GM that he sucks at. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt on this draft pick.

And, I gotta add that I'm happy that Pat Riley won another championship. Just like Michael Jordan has been overrated, I feel that Phil Jackson has been one of the most overrated coaches out there. A great coach adapts the system to the players he has, not the other way around. Too many times I feel that Jackson forced his teams to play triangle offense when something else would have better utilitized his players' talents and abilities. Riley didn't try to remake his Knicks team into another Showtime-style basketball team. Instead, he recognized the limitations of those Knick players, and used a system that maximized their abilities and talents where those Knicks were able to make it to the Finals.

Some pretty darn interesting trades already made and more floating around (Iverson to Boston)? Seems like a lot of NBA teams are quickly rushing to lock up their superstars to long-term contracts as well (LeBron, Nowitzki, etc.)

If this happens, then--despite my inner Lakers fan--I'm rooting for Boston until AI's time with them is up. There is no player in the league with more heart than Iverson, and he's a *much* better team player--at least for the last three or so years--than people give him credit for. He's in the top 10 in the league in assists every freaking year, people. But I'm hoping that he stays in Philly, so that I can keep watching him 2 or 3 nights a week. On the other hand, he doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of a championship here....

Yep; I thought they might try and package it to acquire Garnett.
