Looking to get into selvedge denim. But I know there denimheads here who would poo poo Stretch Selvedge but man... Covid's done a number around my waist line so I need some stretch. In your experience what's a good stretch Selvedge denim jeans? Would love a low, mid, high tier recommendation.

I was looking at Kato's 4 way stretch Pen around $198 for my next purchase.

Not all denimheads would **** on stretch selvedge. I did at first, but then I tried it. I can sense why people love them: they are very easy to wear. The higher the percent of stretch, the more comfortable the jean. Heavy denim with stretch is probably the best way to go in my opinion.

Naked and Famous offer stretch in a variety of configurations and in MANY fits. Unbranded brand (same owners as N&f) has a decent stretch jean for the price.

Oni has a higher price stretch (240) with a decent weight denim (15oz) that are pretty nice.

hope that helps!
