To all my fellow Torontonians,
I need your advice/tips on off the rack suits that can be altered.
Im graduating this June 12th 2014 from Ryerson University and I dont have a suit that fits me well.
I was wondering if anyone could recommend a shop in Toronto that sells off the rack suit at a reasonable price that can be altered as well. (taking into account the time frame till my graduation)
I would opt in for a bespoke or MTM but I dont think I would be able to afford them. (my budget is less than $1000, and that includes a shirt and tie <-- custom if possible)
Also, I'm a short dude 5 7" so off the rack is kind of annoying to fit and its very hard to find Small size.
I saw a Groupon offer from Peter Parvez, Empire Customs, and Justforshirts for around $600 but my graduation is on June 12. I hear that the production is done overseas - I dont want to take the risk of late delivery.
Furthermore, Moore's is having a BOGO sale, Could I get the suit altered? and how is the quality and length of time to get it done?
Also how is Brooks Brothers, Tip Top Tailors, Gotstyle?
Please any advice would help. I just don't want to look like a box on my graduation.
