As others said, needs to be on or near the top of this list. Quality for the money is off the charts. Great fabrics to choose from, and you can go MTO full canvas for less than $1K. And if you’re lucky enough to fit the OTR size, you can get into a great half canvas suit for right around $320. I own a bright navy Guabello suit from Spier that’s just fantastic. Shape is classic and lapels are shapely and well proportioned. Construction details and quality are up there with anything in the $1000-$1500 range, which is what makes it such a knock out from a value standpoint.

I have looked into Spier and Mackay for suits. I have some of their shirts and their ok. As for their suits They have some good solid colors and I like that they specifiy on some suits the weight/say their light weight. I haven't make the buy decision yet on them yet though I have a few bookmarked for later. When I can get out to a tailor Id like to get some mtm or custom made measured in person. S&M, Black Lapel and Oliver Wicks seem like quality stuff just the whole mtm online process. I would rather go into a store and get measured and put my hands/feel the materials. Dislike dealing with complex returns and a lot of back and forth. Im sure once I go through the process a few times I'll be more comfortable with it. For now if I buy S&M it will be standard sizing and I'll just take it to a tailor like with other suits. They had a 25% off thing I missed recently.
