Just my luck, I missed the October order date by 1 day now the next production dates are nowhere to be seen

I was able to place an order day of prod and contacted lian about it and asked if i made the batch and he said it made it, just about the last order.. yours was most likely produced on the october 26 batch.

Placed the order on the 17th when the order date was 16th. So fingers crossed I made that batch. My order status still says "open" and I don't want to bother Lian as he's a busy guy.

So after the initial £60 the UPS man demanded in tax to hand over my package i have now received a further invoice from UPS for an additional £30.......taking th f***ing piss......£90 tax on a pair of £150 shoes! Duty and vat is only 8% +20%

This happened to me - for whatever reason whatever UPS sees (in terms of you paying duty fees) at their Kentucky headquarters isn't immediately (hell, even in the span of 12 hours) available to the drivers. I called UPS to pay the fees as soon as they showed up and the driver still didn't have any record of me paying the duties and said a check would be needed to get the item. I just didn't take the shoes and then called UPS a few more times to make SURE the order went through to the correct people.

You should definitely give them a call and have them reimburse you - I'm sure the driver has a record of you paying him and UPS headquarters has a record of you paying them as well.

This happened to me today. I paid over the phone and the driver said they had no record of it and I gave authorization code and showed it went through on my card. Basically he didn't know how to deal with ones with COD and finally convinced him to leave it since he had everything from me.

Not sure why they are blurry as they came straight from my phone.
Just got mine in today through them on and fits how I wanted them. A little room. I normally 9-9.5 and I got 9s with some room.

yea will def be calling ups for a please explain, however its not a case of double payment as the invoice shows my initial payment and then the additional they are asking for, along zero explanation on what any proper breakdown of the costing etc. just tax, duty and fees. which they have decided to increase all of.

they give u this reason that the first payment was an "estimate" and the second is the right full amount

Figured I'd do a short write-up of what I thought of the shoe, sizing and shipping here in appreciation of Lian's great customer service. Can't recommend SoF enough.

I got my walnut calf suede chelsea's today. Holy guacamole, they're nice. It's a hell of a sturdy shoe. Highly recommend them to anyone who's on the fence.

I used the measuring guide and went down half a size and they fit perfectly. As long as it's calibrated perfectly I can't see how anyone can mess up sizing them. There's a box that should fit any standard debit or credit card on the guide, use that to make sure the measuring guide is printed correctly.

As for duties, I just gave the UPS driver a check and made it out to UPS. I payed exactly $27.40 for shipping to NY state. I think it took about 3 days to arrive from the day I got my tracking number.

Can anyone measure their outsoles if they have either size 43 or 44? Having a difficult time deciding which to choose. On the SEF scale I am right below 44, since there is no 43.5 I'm not sure I'll be able to fit into a 43.
