I think i can speak for some of you that there is no such thing as a versatile shoe. Every shoe serves a specific purpose. That is what i tell the wifey and it is how I can justify buying more shoes.

A versatile shoe is an excuse for those who want to stop buying shoes. If for example you think that a Chukka gets you covered, you will never experience the joy of a chelsea boot so why would you deny yourself this privilege.

Well, that is partly true.
A versatile shoe just means that it can be used in a few different settings, it doesn't necessarily mean it has to be an "all-encompassing" shoe for all occasions (of which, there truly is no such thing).
Having said this, I fully support the notion that even if you may have one (or perhaps a good number of) "versatile" shoes, it certainly shouldn't stop you from buying many more pairs of shoes.
And yes, there only need be one simple reason to buy another pair; you want them.

Another picture of the versatile Shanklin from later on in the day yesterday. Rose petals spontaneously spring forth from their awesomeness.

So how often do you guys spray your sued shoes down with tarragon nano protector. If you use them regularly or rarely any help would be appreciated.

I give em a brush whenever they are near the box, but give em a spray 2-3 times a year :nodding:
