Putting these to use immediately. Will be testing the theory that suede chukkas are a man's most versatile shoe by also wearing them at a wedding later tonight.

I have 2 pairs of shoes from Bonafe and they are much better than Carmina. Quality is better and for me the fit is better. I have a hard time fitting the rain which is one of their most forgiving. So YMMV

I wonder what stuck you most in seeing Enzo Bonafe superior in quality to Carmina? Leather? EB are HW but is it visibly better in quality than carminas GW?

PS: Just interested

Comfort from the first wear and continued comfort. They feel better and wear better. To someone who has the ideal comfort from the two I will let them chime in. Carmina has been hard to fit for me. I prefer Bonafes chiseled last compared to carminas in comfort in the toe box where I have the biggest challenge

How you compare EB to VASS (F last)? I know from VASS thread that you appreciate them very much too.

Love you jacket. Blue jackets as well as blue shoes are my love.

Buy the way.... I thought Carmina rain last fits similar to 946 EB... From all the info about it and Skoak wrote it aslo as I can remember. Can you write your assesment?

I haven't tried Carminas yet and thought Rain would be optimal choice....

Blue jackets are so necessary. I almost want another and I have 4 already.
Vass F is a rounded fuller last.
946 is definitely more of an angled last.

946 is edgy and more Italian
F last seems more English

I had a hard time in the toe box with Carmina on the rain. These fit perfectly fine. Enough space without being excessively bulky.

I always had the impression 946 was narrower than rain from reading online. Would you be able to compare them side by side? Thanks.
