I bumped up a few threads to push down the spam. Hope no one minds.

Any chance that the 'jump to last read post' functionality can be restored? Reading the forum without it has become really cumbersome...

I was at a conference over the weekend and just got back. Took care of the black magic spammers. Now to wade through the huge mod queue.

^ Unfortunately, that stuff's beyond my powers. And, fortunately, I haven't had that problem at all. But I click the little arrow to the left of the thread title. That takes me to my last read post. Doesn't it for you guys?

Still, I have had a couple glitches on the forum myself the past week or so. The main one being if I'm on a subforum, hit a thread, and then click "back" to go to the subforum page, I'm taken back to a very old list of threads, rather than the one I was looking at before clicking the thread.

I think these glitches are part of some updates to the platform, but Fok or J would know better.

Is there a way for a user to completely delete their profile and history on here? Not for me, but a former forum member requested I ask this.

I take it the answer is no to this?

Thanks anyway, emptym. I use email notifications to follow the threads I want to follow. Normally, when I click the See this post button in the email notification, it brings me to... this post I am notified of. Now it brings me to the top of the thread, so I have to scroll down and see where that effing (excusez le mot) post is.

I usually browse from my Subscriptions page, but just tried this. Same thing, clicking the green arrow just takes me to the top of the page with the last read post, forcing you to comb through already read material. Again. And again. And again...

Just changed my thread view from 30 pr page to 10 to cut down on the redundancy.

Cache & cookies deleted? Have you tried marking all forums as read (if that's an option for you)?
