I like raglan sleeves on casual stuff (never seen it on tailored clothing and you idiots are just making it up) because of how it gives the effect of lenghthening your torso and arms - at least that's the impression I get compared to t-shirts or sweaters with a shoulder seam. I have two cashmere sweaters from Costco with raglan sleeves that I love and still look great and have held up better than much more expensive stuff after 3-4 yrs of regular wear.
