Hi guys!

Since I'm in Florence and have attended day 1 & 2 of the Pitti Uomo fair, @LA Guy asked me if I wanted to post a thread with some pictures. Of course I want to share some pictures with my fellow SF:ers. Since I'm actually here on vacation as well, I'll do right by my better half and spend the rest of the week checking out Tuscany. If anyone else feels like it, you can share more pictures from Pitti 86 in this thread.

Day 2

More familiar faces in today's post. I was lucky enough to meet and have a chat with @Sander, @Braddock, @gdl203, @NickPollica and, briefly, @Gianni Cerutti.

Thanks EFV. Lots of nice shots. Some favorites in Day 2, with the second from the top being my favorite of these. He just looks very relaxed. Is Greg wearing the Solaro Formosa from NMWA?

I think the majority of these outfits are way too tight :(. They need to do some walking lunges and front squats to fit into some fuller trousers.

So great to see the pics.  You guys look great, btw.

Cheers! It's been a blast.

Yeah the second guy there was definitely one of my favourites as well. I especially liked the cut of the trousers - full and high waisted.
Yup, Greg was wearing the Solaro Formosa. The suit looked even better in person. Lovely buttonholes and lapels to die for.

Thank you for the pictures, EFV. Looks like a lot of fun!

Cheers, it is!

Great pics - looks like Cashmere & Candy and GDL take the "Cake" IMHO..... Just sayin'

There were really too many great outfits for me to chose one favourite. Greg was definitely one of the best dressed gentlemen I've met during the fair.

Next year perhaps? I'm sure it would be easy convincing your wife of going: "Wanna go to Italy honey?" And in a hushed voice: "Oh yeah, and BTW, I want to spend it in a place where we spend all day every day looking at menswear. Because you know, I never do that otherwise"

Well, it's Pitti. It's to be expected. Also, I don't think squats are necessarily something you have to do to wear fuller pants.

So fun looking!!!

Thank you, it's been a great time so far.

So awesome. Thanks , EFV.

Cheers!

The ticket pocket pocket square is something very creative and nice and dandy. Kudos.

I didn't even see it until I uploaded the picture. It is different though.

It surely is different! Were there also squares hanging out of back pockets?

Did you in any way discuss the controversies surrounding PC?

Even more interesting - any Martha Passaggio-spotting? I am very interested in that name-giving character!
