Opinion on These Used Allen Edmond's Shoes

They look fine to me. It just looks like there is a bright light over them. My Park Avenues reflect just as much light and my Waldens reflect even more light!

I think it's just the lighting, but I see what you're saying, it looks like the uppers might have been treated. I'd ask the seller if that's the case.

Either way, I'd pass--I don't like that the uppers look to be in worse condition than the outsoles.

The scratches on the cap would drive me mad, the shoes look as if handled gingerly otherwise. At least the sole would reflect that.

They look more like scuffs to me than scratches. If that's the case then they can be buffed out. Keep in mind that they are factory seconds - as indicated by the shoe shaped stamp on the right shoe sole.

The uppers seem quite scuffed compared to the outsoles.

Buy or pass either way many more pairs will be for sale in the near future.
Question is do you need them now or can you wait for something better to come along?
