I've been told to stop wearing shorts to work. My amazing quads were too distracting to my coworkers when I wore shorts with 5" inseams.
On a serious note, that’s why I was thinking about a navy drapers ascot trousers. Wear it with a shirt, and carry the jacket outside, because it’s way too hot to wear it outside. Then throw it on in air conditioning

How far along are you guys on this list?

Basically completed the list and advanced list by accident - only thing I don’t have on the list would be a pair of nice khakis cut as dress trousers which similar to a navy blazer is something I’ll never add to my closet lest I appear to be wearing my prep school uniform. The majority of the things on the list though aren’t really necessary in todays world and probably weren’t when it was published.

Well, presumably you won’t look like you’re in your prep school uniform it’s it’s well cut!

I think, with all list like these, general guidelines are good. I don’t think there’s a well defined rule either way.

If you don’t like a navy blazer, or khakis, then don’t get them!

I mean he is the guy who published how to wear white shirt so yes he was definitely pass the time then as well, though think he does bring out some good point vs. over abuse (everything goes with white shirt!)

Dark navy Spring/Summer suit ordered. The Escorial cloth looks and feels amazing, so we’ll see how it performs when made up. I like a bold lining in general, but this one (like the one in my most recent overcoat) is pretty OTT even for me. But what is life without whimsy?

X-post from the dedicated thread

Catching the maestro back in London.

This is where it becomes the danger zone. 3rd/4th commissions and Kotaro-san has nailed it.The balance looking good.

Another damn navy jacket!? 😂

Do You Consider Sustainability When Purchasing Clothes?

  • Always - Sustainability is a top priority in all my clothing purchases.

  • Often - I frequently consider sustainability, but it isn't the main factor in my decisions.

  • Rarely - I seldom consider sustainability when purchasing clothes.

  • Never - Sustainability is not a factor I consider in my clothing choices.
