You would think that no one goes to these types of places. But my friends and I went to OG (I hadn't been there in at least 4 years) and it was absolutely PACKED, we got a table quickly because we were only 3 people but some groups of 5-6 were waiting 40 minutes or more. For Olive Garden? this is where america eats. Really.

PS this is spam

I wouldn't be surprised considering the number of franchises they have all over.

Olive garden has huuuuuuge portions. Red Lobster as I remember it was pretty dirty. I liked the fried craw fish but it tasted pretty much like popeyes craw fish.

While on vacation for a week that can be pretty pathetic. But, I do admit that when I spent a good deal of time in Italy I was really craving nachos, so I went to Hard Rock Cafe.

Surprisingly in the U.S. they are advertising TGI Fridays as having small portions.

I can see how places like this might be useful if you have kids and you want to train them on how to eat in a restaurant.

People love to go to these places because the food is consistent and tastes decent, no matter which location you go to. It won't be fantastic, but it won't be bad, and everyone can find something that appeals to their tastes there.

No, for this, you take them to the Melting Pot.

They have one in Bangalore now, too, although they probably don't offer the steak sizzlers, et al.

Look down your noses all you want, but the best chicken parm I've ever had is from the Olive Garden, it's exactly the way I like it. Yes, yes I've been to fancy Italian restaurants before. Actually, come to think of it, my girlfriends friend whose lived in Italy for the last 5 years or so came down to visit and was amazed at how much better Olive Gardens food and bruschetta in particular was than restaurants she goes to.. in Italy.
