Well, those are boots, so they wouldn't show sock, but with regular shoes they do a little bit, but I don't really find it weird or an issue, especially with dress shoes. I wear either boat shoes/loafers/slip-ons without socks, or dress shoes with socks, not so much sneakers or anything with white socks so I don't find it distracting.

Poly I agree about the jacket, I have a hard time wearing jackets with BoO because the collar is so soft it doesn't sit right.

It would be better to get jackets that are 1" shorter and have 3/4" less on each shoulder.

3/4" less width on each shoulder? It wouldn't fit... The shoulders on this jacket are essentially as close fitting as I could possibly wear. I usually like shorter jackets but I don't mind the length of this one, lately I've been finding that slightly longer jackets are elongating.
