I don't hit the Sugarbowl often. I was there not long ago and saw a guy I knew I recognized, just couldn't figure out from where. Makes sense now.

They have great popcorn.

Yeah I bought it from a Dongdaemun type place but an even smaller one next to my local subway station that I think actually had a better, though smaller selection. I'm not sure I get the comment about the oxymoron. It seems the way people dress is one big trend after another... almost to the point of parody. Maybe I don't know what trendy means though. I got a free tie as a gift from someone who works at Hyundai. It is about 3" wide, some type of pink and white small geometric pattern with tiny sequins abound.

I think Korea i the epitome of a trendy country, everybody follow the trends there. I'm already leaning in that direction, but I think within 3 weeks of moving there I'll be wearing destroyed denim and cheap t-shirts. Maybe cargo shorts.

Yeah I'm all about trying to fit in but some of the stuff is just too much. Just look nice and you should be fine. I can spot an American here (the 5 I've seen) from a mile away. They almost all fit the stereotype of fat and poorly dressed. I was embarrassed. The women's clothes are quite nice but the men.... oye..... some nice outfits but I can't get past the sparkles!

Yeah, my comment was half in jest. When I first went there every male between gangwando and Incheon had one of those military style haircuts--almost like a bowl cut--almost every single damn person. When I left, almost every single male not wearing a suit had hair like Uncontrol.

It's like the trends there are embraced en masse and then deserted en masse and it happens so quickly.

Of course the same can said of alot of places.

As a side note, I think the best trend in Seoul becoming increasingly embraced is the wearing of Thai fake lvc. I noticed an increasing number of guys wearing pre-worn Thai fakes. They can be had in any Migliore for $50.

I was thinking condoms or airline minibottles but hey, to each their own.

I consider this a very tame Thai fade. Bought used - Seoul, Dongdaemun Migliore $50.

The ones I've got on now I bought in Thailand brand new raw. They're at three months. I expect them to be much better than the used ones I bought.

Thanks for the constructive comments. If I develop bulimia you'll have to live with that on your conscience.

I could also pull a drizzt and say it looks great in person.
