I will just add that the folks at the Bureau are a real treat to work with!.. My boots were shipped on Monday, and I received them Tuesday (Northern Ireland to Belgium that is)...

Scout x Trickers Derby Brogue in Beechnut Burnished...

Amazing shoe that reminded me of the Austerity Stow posted before, alas they're too small and I've worn once so can't return - will be up in the B&S shortly looking for a new home (sorry for the self promotion there).

Thanks for the advice with the Stow. It's being sorted out now, as you would expect from Shoe Healer. As others have said, those shoes should not have left the Tricker's factory like that.

Interesting pieces on the Kurt Geiger sale.
The Dillinger is definitely made by Trickers, and I'm 95% certain the Baiku is. Possibly the Antibes and Puglia too.

I like the back of the Baiku and If it wasn't for the piece across the toe/vamp I'd have jumped a pair...

No half sizes again :(, any particular reason so many U.K. stockists do not carry half sizes?

Edit: Saw the ugly toe patch, would not have kopped anyways

I think it's just down to stock costs and that you can generally make up half a size with a footbed and/or thick socks. Although in this case they do have half sizes left in some of the boots/shoes - the brown/other baiku is still available in 41, 42, 43 and 45 - 42 is a half size :)

I bought those green Burtons from them a few weeks ago during the private sale (30% off). I like them, but they are half a size too big, could not bother to return. That last is really big, both in width and length.

So yesterday I was talking to Richard at the Shoe Healer and he was contemplating ordering a limited run of Trickers balmoral boots. He was thinking espresso burnished calf and chocolate suede. But before he ordered, he wanted to know if there was interest or suggestions.

Please post below and I'll get back to him in a few days.

I don't think Tricker's is the best manufacturer for a balmoral boot.
Did Richard tell you the last for the balmoral boot? Probably not a country one.

Besides, I already placed an order for MTO Allan :slayer:

Curious as to the general style for the balmoral boot.
I probably wouldn't be too interested in a wingtip but a captoe with the upper part around the ankles in suede might interest me.

Balmoral from Tricker's should look like this?
