I got the Short Stow from The Bureau. I don't know about anyone else but i have a ***** of a time getting the regular Stows on, but the Short Stow is easy to get into and more comfortable. BTW how do you take care of waxy leather?

I treated mine (waxy black leather) with Obenauf's heavy duty leather polish... Might be cleaning them today and applying a second, thicker layer. I work in them so they get dirty quickly.

Didn't change the colour, didn't add a shine... Pic after some wear:

I'm looking for some advice. I bought these Stow in Acorn Antique at full price, but I was very disappointed when they arrived. The stain goes way above the welt, there are marks on the sole edge, and I'm sure the colour of Acorn Antique looked lighter in nearly every photograph I've seen. These look like tan. Any help on that would be appreciated -

I was thinking of keeping these boots until I noticed the facing alignment -

Take a look at the left boot, please. It looks worse with the boot on the foot -

Then there's a bit of failed punching here -

I got some Stows with failed punching. A few minutes work with an xacto and tweezers fixed it
But they were seconds from the ebay shop.

Those really should be sent back.

@ LMTLiam:

-That's the color of Acorn, it is indeed an orangey tan. Leave them out in the sun if you can, the color will fade nicely over time. No joke.
-Stain on the uppers is pretty bad, but I've noticed that on a lot of pictures of Acorn Stows so another pair will likely have the same issue.
-Misaligned facings also suck, but are not unusual for Tricker's, unfortunately.
-Failed punching can be fixed as Zippyh mentioned.

You can return them and wait for Pediwear to do another run of their Acorn Stows w/ Dainite soles and Natural trim/stain which they called Tricker's Stow - Dainite 2011 (they've just recently been removed from their website).
